Multiple Echos - only 1 replies
« on: November 07, 2016, 01:43:50 pm »
Just being doing some testing with multiple echos in the same room, all on the same account.

Interestingly only 1 replies to you.  That's pretty cool.

Only the nearest one will reply. It's a relatively new feature called ESP- Echo Spatial Perception

KevB said only the nearest one replies.  I can put 3 touching next to each other and ask a question and ONLY EVER ONE replies.

They are all equidistant.

there will always be one that is closer - even if it is fractions of an inch.  besides a least it is doing what it is supposed to be doing - only one is replying  SO WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM????

I don't have a problem if you read the last line of my initial post!

An observation is not necessarily a problem.

Ah, OK.  What you're seeing is that they think that the ESP software is determining that the one picking your voice up the best is the "closest"...which in practical usage terms is what you're looking for.
