Echo and Wemo lightbulbs

Hi all
Have got my echo dot and very impressed. Working well with my Belkin Wemo switches
Cant get it to work with my Belkin Wemo lightbulbs - doesn't seem to recognise them
Any ideas? Have ensured on the same network and tried a couple of times.

Wemo light bulbs do not work with Amazon Echo. It is stated in the product description.

With a little bit of help of a raspberry pi and a bit of python they can be recognised as normal hue lights. Pm for details
