default device

I just got a dot a few days ago... the dot is in the basement and my echo is on the main level.  I started noticing that when I play a pandora station from the app it wants to play on the dot in the basement... Is there a way to make the echo "default" so when my wife asks for a certain station it plays on the correct device?
