New Echo Dot going on and off line

Just got my Echo Dot 2nd this week.  Ive got it connected and its pretty simple.   The issue I have is that it constantly goes on and off line and I have to go thru that setup all over again.  Frustrating and time consuming.  Anyone know what the issue may be.  Thanks

Weak network connection -- move it closer to the router and see if things improve.

If the Dot is resetting to the point where you have to go through setup again, I'd say the problem is with your power source. Are you using the USB power adapter that came with the Dot? If you're using a different USB power adapter, it might not be supplying enough power. Also, you should use the USB cable that came with the Dot.

If the issue is network connectivity: Check what network you're on. 5G tends to drop far more frequently than slower protocols.

But if the device itself is just shutting down, and you are using the supplied USB plug and cable, then return the Dot and get a replacement
