How to ask sports standings

When I ask echo to tell me the national hockey league standings, or how many games have the Boston Bruins won, it does not understand the question.  How should I ask?

I don't think Alexa knows the historical data on sports teams.
But if you want the latest scores, you just ask "Alexa, what's the score for the Boston Bruins game?"
