Alexa app launches white screen

Hey guys, so you can see from the title the problem I am encountering!

When I launch the Alexa app from Amazon which I installed on the Google play store (android) it just displays a blank white screen, therefore disabling me from doing anything.

white screen on what?  tablet or phone, model information?   did you try restarting whatever you installed it on?  you can still access through your computers browser.

Sorry I should've said - using a rooted Galaxy Note 4 6.0.1, have tried restarting, also reinstalled. Nothing works

try deleting the system cache
1.  uninstall alexa app
2.  powering off the device
3.  press the VOLUME UP + HOME  + POWER buttons all the same time and HOLD THEM DOWN
4.  release only the POWER button when the device vibrates
5.  release the other buttons when the ANDROID SYSTEM RECOVERY screen appears
6.  using the VOLUME DOWN / UP buttons to navigate, select WIPE CACHE PARTITION
7.  press the POWER button, which will act the ENTER key on your keyboard
8.  you will likely see some progress notes (at the bottom of the screen in small print) and after about 20 seconds it will likely show DONE.
9.  restart the phone
10.  reinstall the app.

This doesn't work.
For the time being I'm just going to use the browser on my computer, but whilst doing so I will be changing the custom ROM installed on my phone, should work after!
