multiple dots but can see only one

I got a dot and loved it and so did my daughter who asked for her own for a Christmas present. I got it for her and she set it up on her smartphone. Now she can see hers but not mine and I can only see mine. Is there a way that we can see both since they are on the same wifi network?

The network(s) they're on is irrelevant.  Are they both associated with the same Amazon account?  Or are they on different accounts?  That's what matters.

Yes, she used her own Amazon account.
Is there a way to associate the two?

Look up "Amazon Household" in either of your accounts to link them.
