Playing through wired speakers and Bluetooth with Echo Dot

I am using a decent pair of powered wired speakers through the 3.5 plug.  I added an Ankar Bluetooth speaker so we can listen on the patio or in the bathroom.  Discovered you can only use one at a time.  Anyone know a workaround for this?

Unplug the speaker or get another dot. It can't do what you're asking.
