Alexa Android app

Finding that activating music from app on smartphone often better as Alexa may not understand voice command.  However, A to Z artist feature of Amazon Music on app is not easily scrollable; as soon as I begin scrolling Alexa begins playing the artist I started on.   There is also no search function on the app for the entire Amazon Music library.  I have to go into Amazon Music and add album/songs to My Music and then go into Alexa app to have Alexa play the music from My Music.   My Music is also easily scrollable unlike the artist index described above.   Any similar experiences/work a rounds?

I use the browser Alexa app on my 27" screen iMac.  No issues there w/scrolling or reading.  I don't own a cell phone.  Even if I did, there is no way I can work the Alexa app on a tiny screen.
