If I ask any of these questions:
- Alexa, when is my next appointment?
- Alexa, when is my next event?
- Alexa, what’s on my calendar?
There is a long pause and then she says one of these:
- Sorry something went wrong.
- I’m sorry, something went wrong.
- I’m not sure what went wrong.
There is another long pause, and then she says, "I am having trouble accessing your calendar. Please try again later."
This has been going on for several weeks.
However, she can answer these questions:
- Alexa, what am I doing today?
- Alexa, what am I doing at 7 pm?
- Alexa, what’s on my calendar tomorrow?
- Alexa, what am I doing on March first?
I must include either a date or time in my query (even if the “date” is the word “today”) or she "has trouble accessing my calendar."
It certainly seems she understands the question (she knows she is supposed to get information from my calendar), but she just can’t find the answer until I include a date or time.
I called Alexa support and they didn't have a clue. I tried unlinking and relinking my Google Calendar.
Are other people having this problem? It used to work for me.
