Synchronize Audio Across Multiple Echo Devices

Has anyone seen this option in their Alexa App?



There is a person posting all these screenshots of new options.

Please let me know if you have this option in your Alexa App.

It would be nice to know what version this appears to be in.
My device software version is # 564197320 and it doesn't appear in it.

Here is a screenshot of the version the person has for the Alexa App. Your Echo Firmware version is the same as mine and I don't have any of the option in the 3 posts i made.



My Alexa App version is newer that what he posted.

Unless they are also opening push notifications, I would not want synchronized audio. Alexa's audio is not good enough to treat as a whole-house music system.

I have the same Version, Bridge and all... but do not have multiple Alexa devices yet... There is not an option to sync music on multiple Alexa devices since I don't have multiple devices (I assume that is why... these things are very *smart*)

I don't have it. I hope it's real. I have 4 echos scattered about all connected in one way or another to good speakers. All synced to music would be incredible.

Can you test or are you seeing this? 

If this is a form of bridging, where you can command one echo in one room and the other echoes will output the same music in other rooms, then this is great news.  Several on this board have been requesting this as a feature.

I don't think it's real.

I hope it is someday. It shouldn't be that hard to do. Just get an exact time stamp to within a few milliseconds, or if that isn't possible, maybe they could send a few quick tones to each other and time sync that way. I think if I had access to the code I could make it work in about a week.
