Which Echo would be best for me?

Hi All

I have a Hive hub and thermostat etc, and also a non bluetooth B&O speaker.

I know any echo unit will be able to tap in to the Hive devices, but not sure if by adding a bluetooth receiver to my speaker (assuming that in itself works), that the Echo will be able to send music to the speaker through the bluetooth adapter?
The speaker has Spotify Connect anyway, but would like to listen to Internet radio through my own speaker too.
It has built in wifi.

I then thought, what about the Echo Plus with its built in hub. Would that be a better option with regards my speaker connection?
Would the Echo Plus be able to connect through wifi?

Any help would be appreciated

I googled. I don't see any indication that echo connects to wifi speaker. As of now, it only connects through BT or aux. As far as I know, echo can connect to BT adapters. Lately I find that if I connect it as BT speakers, my echo have red ring of death, after.
