Alexa Show in assisted living
« on: December 13, 2017, 11:08:37 am »
We got an Alexa Show for us (Colorado) and one for my parents (Virginia).  They have wifi at the assisted living facility where they live, but don't have cell phones or an Amazon account.  Is it better to create a new Amazon account for them, or can I link them to mine?  They will really only use it to drop in on us or to check the weather, so I don't need to set up music accounts, photo accounts, etc.  (although if I can share mine awesome)  I assume I can just use my phone as their phone number and be on the phone with them and give them the activation code?

I was looking for the search feature on this forum and can't find it. A similar topic has been discussed here and I found it on google.  This is the topic title --Setting up Echo Show for my non-local very senior parents.  I will try searching google again and see if it will pop up quickly for you.

** Found the search feature at the very top left.
