Kindle Books - can we have it in the UK too?

Hi All

I've got a few books I'd like to read in Kindle (through echo and dot).
Audible is not an option because they're predominantly Textbooks and I think those will be narrated way after I retire.

The feature appears to be available in the US-Alexa, my Kindle fire and original Kindle. Can we have it on UK-Alexa too.

For clarification, this is the TTS service that's visible when you go to the Alexa App >> Settings >> Music and Books >> [Kindle books, just below the Audible option]

It appeared for me a couple of weeks back - including new books - but has disappeared again. Think amazon must be testing the service...
