Anyone Tried Hopper with Alexa?

Has anyone used the Dish Hopper with Alexa yet?  Not a work around but the app that Dish has out for Alexa?  I am trying to decided if I want to pay an extra $20 a month to control the TV with the Echo.  I already have a smart thermostat, cameras, light and WEMO switches.  I can justify the smart house cost since I have a hearing impaired/deaf husband.  BUT this would be just a little indulgence that I could have fun with. So should I switch to the Hopper or not?

Well I think this is something only you can answer. I personally would not spend an extra $240 a year for that convenience, but, I'd gladly spend more than that per year on Scentsy bars . Everyone has their priorities.

Yes.
It works about as well as everything else in the Alexa world- not super well.
After selling at my living room dot and starting to sound like a new Alexa Silver commercial I just went back to using my Dish remote.
It works every time.
