Unable to access tune in radio stations by voice

I have a problem where Alexa simply will not find a voice command radio station on tune in but it can be chosen manually via favourites in the Alexa app.  Radio X uk always becomes Milton Keynes MK Radio!  This and its refusal to do anything first time, but always second time  is wearing a little thin now. TP link wifi on three items always works but second time, rarely first, no matter how who carefully words are enunciated. Amazons tech support response to the radio question was, ours works!

In recent days I've had problems with all the radio stations that I listen to. I'd ask Alexa to play a radio station and she would say, "playing so and so station on tune-in." But then nothing. Nothing is being played and yet the Alexa app shows that the correct station is playing.
Well, to fix this I unplugged my Echo. And I also force closed the Alexa app. After that, it all works again.
