Fire Tv and Echo Integration Update

Has anyone done this? I cant figure out how to pair the products together in the app. Im starting to think the integration update was pulled or was bad information.

I think the Software update that is coming for the FireStick and Fire TV will do the job for you once it rolls out to everyone. It appears that it is supposed to work on all VOICE ACTIVATED Fire Stick and FireTV devices from my readings. I checked and tried to update my system tonight and no update is found, and I have looked up the proper version number to see if I am current... I am... Also looking at all the links I can find for what does/does not work with echo, Fire Stick and just about all the rest, voice control is doable once you push the button on the Voice remote only... So maybe soon... just not holding my breath for much of any updates on any of the devices... I now have 6...
