New item under settings?

I just noticed after logging into the Amazon Alexa.com that under settings/Devices there is now showing an Amazon app? Is this for the app installed on a phone?

I think it is for the web site app.  I just looked at my web site for Amazon Alexa and it is updated now. I think that is the first big update since I bought my Echo 2 years ago.

The App on my settings showed up when I set up the app on my phone, so I'm pretty sure what you're asking about is that line and setting. You can always uninstall the app on the phone tom see if it is the app... It's free to re-install it.

I didn't investigate it but I noticed it night before last when I did a FR of my phone, installed Nougat updated the Alexa app.
