"Starting today we support calling out with a private number, or showing your Google Voice or Project Fi number (check more information here). We’ll also continue to add features over time, including the ability to link your mobile number to the Google Assistant, and we’ll display that number on outbound calls whenever we recognize your voice. But we have no dates to announce at the time."

This was dated today and came from a mod at the GH forum.  "Unknown" or Private" and the use a GVoice number as been supported all along.

not sure what you are wanting.  when calling using gh first announced, the showing of phone numbers was a future feature and it would show google voice.   you would have to go to the google control panel and set it up.   I am guessing you would have to do the same for it to show your regular number on the caller id.
