Great news. and it is about time.  Thankfully I have had Siri and Google Assistant to make up for the lack of Full Alexa on iphone and Pad .

Opened my Alexa app. Saw a new icon, click it, allowed permission.  BAM! I have Alexa on my phone.

Found out you have to click it every time to use.

LAME!  :-\

Back to GA on my phone.

In fairness I like that I have an instant echo show on my phone. But the non ✋ free use is LAME!

by the way my hue bulb still glitch!  lamer!  Amazon devs.

Try Listens for Alexa.
