Is there a way to add photos to the thread? When I click on attachments and other options, I have no option to add anything.

looks like there is if you have external storage like at photobucket.  click the icon below the B icon.  It looks like a photograph.  I have not tested it but unless the moderators have it disable it should work.  Just insert the url between  img
