I’m able to schedule events to my google calendar via my echo dot but I can not edit if I need to. I say Alexa edit my calendar and also said google calendar and it responds clearly this calendar is not supported.

It doesn't say the calendar isn't supported, it says the calendar "query" is not support.  In other words, it can't edit from the Alexa app.

yeah I tried that edit command on my shopping list too. can't do it via voice. the horror of actually using my hands to edit it!!  >:( How could you. Amazon!! You better get that edit function going !! Chop, chop!
