echo plus uk questions?

Hi all,

New to this forum so hi.

I have got my first echo and i waited for the plus to come out.
All ok so far, but i have noticed the Hue settings are very limited on the Alexa app. I had read that for the colour bulb, it still requires the bridge to get full function of this? I have purchased the colored bulb and bought a hue bridge to use it? Was this a waste of money doing this to get the full function of this bulb?
 Also the hue bulb which comes with Alexa works fine, but for some reason my hue app cant find it,so is it limited to my Alexa now and this is why it wont find it? I am a little worried that i have bought this bridge and it conflicts with the Alexa bridge?
Any help or advice on this please?

Hi

The hue light app won't find it.  I have an echo plus but someone else with an echo on this UK thread said the app did not work but if you ask Echo Plus to discover the Hue or any other devices it works.
