What's the best way to listen to podcasts?
The only way I know is to ask: Alexa, play [podcast name] on Tune-In radio.
That works for some podcasts. But it doesn't find some.
And it also doesn't have these usability features:
- it can't skip forward or backward by some amount of seconds.
- it can't remember where I left off. For example I start a podcast, listen to 15 minutes of it, stop it. Then the next day I want to resume where I left off.
Also as mentioned it doesn't find a lot of the podcasts that I have subscribed to with a podcast app on my android phone. (using Pocket Casts on the phone).
Instead I find that I can pair my phone with the Echo and simply use the Echo as a speaker, and use the phone to play the selected podcasts, but that's not very handy.
