Contacts will not show up

I have had an Echo for several years now and a DOT as well.  I have used the Alexa app to call them in the past and my contacts showed up under my profile.  Recently my contacts disappeared and I cannot get them to sync back.  I have restarted my iPhone.  Deleted and reinstalled the Alexa Program several times and allowed it to share my contacts.  I have tried for two days now to find a solution to get them back with no luck.  I use an iPhone with iOS 11.2.1.  Any direction or help on how to get my contacts back would be helpful.  Thank you.

Just updating the group that Amazon Staff has not been able to correct the issue which started with iOS 11.2.1.  Spent 4 hours on the phone with support and several emails.  Still waiting for a resoulution.
