Alexa makes phone calls using the wrong number

Opened our new Echo Christmas day at our daughter's home in a nearby city. Saw that I needed the app to do setup so downloaded it to my Android phone while there. Saw that I needed my Amazon password to log in, didn't know it, so closed the app. Then, drove home, plugged in Echo, did the network setup, added my wife to the device, logged into each Amazon account and saw that our phone nos. were correctly listed, and then asked Alexa to call a friend. The friend said that the number calling was my daughter's, and not mine, or my wife's number. Alexa is using our daughter's phone no. for anyone we call using Alexa. Have no clue how she even got my daughter's phone numer, and can find no way to fix this. Suggestions?

It's the 'magic' of the fact that your daughter bought it for you (correct?) on her Amazon account.

All you have to do is deregister. You have to install everything again though. I never use calling though, so maybe they have an easier way of changing the number coming up.
