Loop Mode suddenly sketchy

I have used "loop mode" with echo for the last 6 months to keep oceans sounds, etc playing throughout the night.  It has worked well until @ 1 week ago (12/12/17). 

Now when I tell Alexa "Loop Mode" she complies "Loop Mode on" but it apparently does not work, as when I awake there is no sound coming from her!! 

Has anynoe else had this issue, and does anyone have a "fix"??

you are not alone in that. i have been having the exact same issue. sorry i don't have anything more to add at this point. am hoping a software update will resolve soon.

just an update. i figured out my problem was my fault. i automatically have my modem power cycle nightly. when it did that of course all my echo units temporarily lost their connections. so i was breaking the link stopping the music. loop mode functions normally for me i just forgot about the wifi as i have had that bit automated for years.
