Bose Soundlink Bluthooth iii - No sound

Went to play some festive music from Alex through my Bose Soundlink BT iii speaker and nothing played. Alexa is connected but no sound coming from speaker? I reset the speaker and tried to pair again with Alexa - no go, just silence?
Anyone experiencing this BT issue?

I am  also having this issue. Connect Echo Dot 2nd Gen. Says connected but as soon as I say alexa disconnect and will not connect up again.

Has anyone figured this one out yet? Tried resetting both Dot and Bose with no Joy.
