cancelling commands

Hi, I'm new to this forum, so this was probably asked many times before.  I didn't see a search option.

I've been unable to cancel an alert or wake-up request no matter what I say.. I've tried "cancel", and "stop", and others with the original command and nothing works (many times I wake up 60 minutes ahead of the wake-up time and don't want it beeping after I've left the house).

Also, I haven't been able to combine commands like "wake me at 7 AM by playing Frank Sinatra music".  It immediately starts playing the music. Any ideas?

Search is at the top left of the page.
To cancel an alarm, you use the app. Go to the Alarm section. There is an on/off switch next to the alarm.

For a music alarm, go to the help section of the app, then alarms and finally Music Alarms. That will let you know what to do.

Thank you.  I'm surprised that you can't cancel it by just giving Alexa another command.

When I want to cancel an alarm I just say "Alexa cancel alarm"  and Alexa cancels the alarm.
