Echo Dot started talking to itself.

Picture this: just get in bed, house is quiet, I live alone. Suddenly, in the dining room Alexa starts to talk but I can't understand what she says. I blow it off thinking it is a fluke. I get comfy...she starts talking again. I go out to ask her what she was saying...nothing. I turned her off. Anyone else have this happen?

It might be Alexa saying she lost connection to the WiFi? Or perhaps something with Bluetooth? I never use reminders, but I think reminders will make Alexa to speak up without being asked a question.

Hahahha if she keeps talking to herself it will be the end! Hahahaha

No reminder set so maybe she was lonely?

This is old news -- has happend to others, incl me.  In my case I was using BT from PC, but never disconnected it so if you were recently using BT with Alexa turn it off at source and alexa device.
