Spot speaks Google calendar but doesn't show

I have the Spot/Clock and a Google apps account.
I can link the account to through Alexa and select and deselect entries.
When I say "Alexa, what's on my calendar" she reads the next four entries correctly.
But when I swipe through to the calendar screen on spot it shows just one entry and when I click on that I get four pulsing blue dots. And after a minute it quits and goes back to the clock screen.
There was a brief moment when it showed events - although the scrolling was a bit weird - days and events were a bit off. But now nothing. If this was a failed integration (thanks to the Google Amazon war) then I wouldn't expect anything. The fact it can speak but it can't / won't display implies it's an amazon software issue, I think. Anyone else running into this or has debugged it (I've unlinked and linked accounts several times)
