Shuffle not working

I used to be able to say, "Shuffle my playlist [name]" and it would do exactly that. Now it just plays in the default order and I've then got to ask it to shuffle and then play next to get past the first song. Has anyone else noticed this?

Alexa always plays the same first song, regardless of whether she's asked to "play" or "shuffle." The subsequent songs should vary when shuffling, however.

Amazon have confirmed that there is a technical problem with shuffle just now. I just don't understand why it takes them so long to fix something that was working.

I started having the problem as well, but when I did a workout last night, my playlist shuffled like it used to.
