Alexa, open Cortana....

...crickets. Well not really. Alexa just don't tell me about having Cortana soon anymore. And it told me it does not find the skill. So I search for Cortana skill.... nada.


On windows on the other hand.... Cortana is saying I can access Alexa soon.

I google about this new development but I only see 1 new article about it. It's saying now there is no definite date. I was gonna say maybe they realized there is no point in doing this. LOL. I said it earlier. I prefer to use the AI on their built in device. The crossover platform does not make sense. But.. well at least Cortana is still hopeful. LOL. Alexa seem to not care.

Was bored. Try the command again and it works. But you have to enable skill and link your Microsoft account.

So... Ya I didn't enabled it. LOL. DON'T know how this integration is productive at all but there you go..

Took them 7 months.. I tried it on my laptop. Yap it works but first.... Sign in to alexa.... Ya no thank you.

sounds like you are a bit disappointed.  give it time.  it could eventually be a good fit.  read somewhere that it could read your emails in outlook.

Yes in the Alexa Skill it did say email and calendar integration. I don't have a need for those feature so I didn't enable it.
