Alexa will not open in Internet Explorer 11?

The title says it all.  It used to work fine but starting about a week ago I cannot access the app using IE11.  It works fine from Chrome or Firefox but not from Internet Explorer.  I sent everything back to default conditions etc. and it didn't make any change in the operation of the app.

you said it will not open, be more specific.  what does it do exactly???   error messages?  spinner keeps spinning?  blank page?  or what?

things you can try, disable addons, disable security software, try safemode with network, and make sure all temporary files are deleted.

almost forgot, make sure you are using alexa.amazon.com
