returning after setup

I purchased Amazon Alexa to try her. She will not give me my preferred Radio station even tho I can play on my clock radio. many other features just don't apply to me. most of my other devices are not compatible. so she's going back!

my question is: for security and personal reasons...is there anything I need to do other than go into Alexa settings and disable?

You don't state which product you have.
You need to reset to factory settings and that process depends on what product you have.
You don't state what devices you have that aren't compatible.
there may be a way to make them work.
You also didn't state what is your radio station that Alexa can't find.
Many radio stations now have their own skill have you tried that?
How have you tried to get Alexa to play your radio station?

sorry...I have amazon alexa echo.

I did contact site to enquire about radio station CBC radio 1 and was told that station not set up yet.
Spotify needs premium account to play,
Samsung Smart TV needs special adaptor
lights not sure what I need....probably need an updated home in order to use her...lol lol lol
or a new brain to figure all this out.

what I did:
I have erased all history chats with Alexa.
have removed my address and location.
clicked deregister.

I logged into Amazon account to check if device was there and it was not.
so I presumed all was clear and ready for new owner.

I plugged her back into wall and pretended I was a new owner.
the setup feature asked for wifi so I know she is not connected to mine.

looks like all is okay. will pack her up and send back.

the only thing I cannot figure out how to do is delete the amazon account I used to set her up!!
any tips there?

so basically you are sending it back because you don't know how to use it.  did you bother to check to see if cbc radio can be played through other radio services that is available like iheartradio???
