Schedule Updates

Last night and some ridiculous hour, the echo in our bedroom did an update and restarted, and then did it's announcement of hello. Is there any way to schedule when a device updates. Quite happy for the other units to update at night, but the bedroom one should be during the day.

Updates don't usually make the Echo restart and say Hello. In fact I have never heard my Echo say Hello on its own, update or not, unless the power goes out and comes back.

Mine used to say hello after being unplugged and getting connected again (or if the battery pack had run down), but it doesn't any more. For you, setting the bedroom device to Do Not Disturb might stop it running updates at night and announcing itself. Also, might be worth checking you have it on your local time zone; if it isn't, that might be a factor.
