Use echo dot as speaker phone to answer calls?

With my Echo Dot paired with my phone, can I answer calls to my iPhone and use it as a speaker phone?  Struggling with this one, thanks for any advice...

Me too... Anyone? Or is this task just too difficult? All the Amazon help just talks about alexa connect. but I want to answer my phone and use it as a speaker phone!

 I believe that's only possible if you buy an echo connect. However that only works with landlines.
