First time buyer of a echo is there any other accessories I should have got

Definitely buy the color hue bulbs and be blown away by hue sync. I was mesmerized last night watching music vids on YouTube and  hue sync  really is in sync with background colors.

I really really like it.

I didn't think the echo worked with YouTube anymore.  Has this been changed?

You need to install hue sync. It's a desktop software. It works flawlessly on my PC.  It's also free.

Not just YouTube. Once you install it on your PC it sync to your pc background. So if you have fireplace screensaver I would assume it will also flicker like that.

Or if you have downloaded movie playing on your PC it will sync to the movie background.

So far I've only tried it on YouTube. But can't wait to try it on movie.
