Echo Spatial Perception has never worked for me

I've got 6 echos in my house - and I normally get responses from at least 2 or 3 of them whenever I give commands unless I talk very low. I know I can rename some of them, but Echo Spatial Perception is supposed to correct this. Anyone have ideas to make it work right?

Are they logged into the same account? If you have some logged into different accounts I believe this may prevent ESP from working. I think this may even be the case if you are using Amazon Household.

It was great at first, then terrible for a few updates, then a little better again, for a while, and now terrible.

I suspect they'll get it right someday. Today is not that day.

I have one Dot that is a better listener than the rest... It picks up almost ANY wake word from any room. However, it only wakes long enough to be able to distinguish which is closer to the commander. Since My Father-In-Law has a special way of speaking (OK... we live in Texas and he's from Boston... way different accent), his Wake word is always noticed on 3 echos at a time. Only one ever answers. Do your echos all light up and all respond? or just light up and one responds while the others go back dormant?
