Can Alexa's Multi-Room Music feature be used with Android or iPod playlists?

I want to be able to play my cell phone and/or iPod playlist music throughout my house, using Alexa's Multi-Room Music feature. (I have seven Echos scattered around the house -- mix of Echos, Dots & Shows -- and all are on one Multi-Room Music group.)

I realize using a Bluetooth connection will deactivate Alexa's Multi-Room Music feature so my question is... Is there an alternative way that I can accomplish what I'm trying to do? I don't suppose using the 3.5 mm (wired) audio link will help... will it? What about accessing the playlists on my laptop (which also has the Alexa App)?
