Spotify Integration Not Functioning

I recently got an Echo and I love it, but I'm having a single repeat issue with the Spotify Integration. I've connected my account through the Alexa App. However, whenever I issue a Spotify command to the Echo it never completes the command and starts to play music. The light ring turns blue like it's processing, but music never plays. In addition, the Spotify Connect feature doesn't work -- this should show the Echo as a device I can connect to through Spotify.

I'm using the Android App and have a Spotify Premium account.

Anyone else had this issue or have any suggestions to fix it?

Power down and power up your echo again. This happens to me, on both my echos, if my Internet goes down for any reason, then comes back up. Echo will connect again & be fine it seems after a Internet connection drop, other than Spotify is silent when trying to play. Basically restarting echo sorts it.
