I'm not really needing Alexa to control my Apple products ... or vice versa. As I've said here in other threads, I'd just like for my Echo to be able to access my locally stored music library and as soon as Plex announces that they've cracked it, I'll be a happy camper.

As I have mentioned elsewhere, since the Echo cannot access my network source music, I have my devices (iPhone, iPad, Kindle tablet. Win PC) access it, and play it to Echo via BT.  That seems the best way for now to have Echo "access" the home network.
