Traffic doesn’t seem helpful anymore

So I seem to recall some time ago being able to say ‘Alexa how long will it take to get to’ or ‘what’s the traffic like on the way to ‘ and it would use my location and the specified destination and answer the questions (an improvement over the rather crap traffic in the app support).

However it no longer seems to know how long it will take me to get somewhere, am I asking the wrong question or has something changed and the only traffic function now is the old rather crap app support for commute?

I've just tried on mine here in Kent and all seems to be working fine. I ask it what's the traffic like on the way to "x" and she tells me. If I ask her how long it will take me to get to "x" she will tell me the quickest route and how long it will take.........
I don't  think you are asking the wrong question, maybe try rebooting your dot etc and see if that makes any difference.

Thanks for the reply, it seems to be working normally for me as well now, perhaps it was just a temporary glitch.
