It's prime day,..anyone else with weird happenings starting after 3pm?

i had lights only partly shut down, music stopped playing midway, responses are slow or not at all getting the red led, let alone the constant sorry try again later response. i didn't think until i noticed the time and it all started at exactly 3pm. not an issue at my end just curious for time being if anyone else noticed anything. thought all those hordes of anxious prime shoppers might have dinged amazon servers at the start. that said read in the past that netflix uses their servers too so that could be interesting too.

I rarely use my echo. I made it read some free sample audible today. Works as it should.

It does give me a red ring of death every time I use BT. That's it.

As for prime day sale I actually have a gift card but when I checked this morning there's nothing I want or think is a steal.

I mean the cube for $90 is still too steep for me.

FYI turns out i guessed correctly. Amazon servers crashed hard and didn't come back fully for 90 minutes. i actually saw a short bit on it reading my google news feed. searched online and found already a half dozen stories posted on the outage. thankfully short lived. for many alexa is optional for myself, circumstances being, well not so much at this point. Glad she's back
