Echo Plus + Philips Hue discovery failures

I have seen many many posts about the Echo Plus not pairing with the Philips Hue light.  I have tried everything including being on the phone with tech support for 1 hr and 20 mins.  They couldn't solve the problem and sent me a new Echo Plus and light bulb, but it still isn't working.  Does ANYONE out there have a solution for me?  I am so frustrated with this!

 I "assume" you went through the reset procedure using the serial number on the bulb? I had the same problem and the reset did the trick. My buddy Bob just had his Plus replace and all 7 of his bulbs would not work either until he went through the reset procedure.

I would HOPE Amazon support recommend this for you to try, they never did for my friend Bob, all they told him he would need a bridge. He did not after I told him about doing a reset.

I did the reset thing with each bulb i tried.  Still not working.

 Did you try clicking on the smart device and then click the trash can in the upper right of the screen? if not, try that and then have it discover the devices. If all else fails try calling Phillips or maybe convince Amazon to either send you another Echo or a Phillips bridge.

I doubt they will give you a hue bridge. They will just keep replacing their products but not others.

They really should just not advertise that hue works with echo plus if there are a lot of people that have problem with it. It's really not looking good on their part.

 Thats exactly what the did for my friend Bob, gave him the Bridge. Maybe it matters what tech support at Amazon you get.
 One other thing to check. I know you said you tried to reset the bulb. Are you 100% sure you typed in the correct S#? I only ask as the first time I tried that it didnt work, then I realized what I thought was an 8 was, in fact, a B.
