Has Alexa picked up other peoples signals when Dropping in from outside home?

I dropped into my Echo from my phone when I was 10 miles away from my house. There were people talking like they were in my kitchen...We went home and there was no one there. I have searched to see if anyone else has experienced this, if I could have picked up someone else's home but I have found nothing.

That's scary. Maybe you should put a camera in the area you drop in to make sure.

Reading the latest posts here Alexa is sucking more and more to me. I guess my conclusion that Google home is better is valid. LOL.

your conclusion is not valid.   You should read some of the problems google home is having in the different google home forums.  both have similar issues.  but then you do not believe in research and getting educated.
