Best audio quality

If I connect my dot to my hifi system, will I get high quality output (assuming source is strreaming a high quality signal) and,if so, am I better off using Bluetooth or audio cable. (My system can handle either7.)

A no-brainer.  Always select direct audio input into amp instead of BT, no matter what the source; be it a Dot or anything else if you have the choice.
