Whisper Mode - UK

Hi All,

I've got an Echo Spot and was just wondering if anyone else that also has the Spot, is able to use Whisper Mode? So far I haven't noticed the ability to either enable it using the Alexa App or on the device itself?

Unfortunately this seems to be yet another feature that may take forever (if EVER) to make it outside the USA.

Follow-up mode is live in the UK (since this week), you need to enable it in the app..

Thanks - Lots of websites and indeed UK based websites reporting the functionality (assuming they're just doing a copy job from US based websites).

For clarity, this is not a global setting - it needs to be enabled for each device in All Devices.

To turn on Follow-Up Mode, in your Alexa app:

Select the Devices icon "".
Select the Echo & Alexa tile.
Select your device.
Scroll down to Follow-Up Mode and use the toggle to turn it on.

on android, the device icon is the on far right on the bottom, a house silhouette. My app version is 2.2.241878. You can try the web version at alexa.amazon where it is in settings
