Echo's not repeating back list like it use to.

All of my Eco devices use to repeat back when I added an item to my grocery list. It would also tell me what was listed in my grocery list when asked. Now when I add something to my grocery list I just hear an audible tone instead of it repeating back to me. When I asked what's on my grocery list I just hear an audible tone and then it goes blank.

It's something indigenous to my account I'm guessing because all of my devices are acting the same way. I've tried unplugging and plugging all of them back in, of course this did not help.Any ideas? Thank you

Update: as it turns out all of my echo first gen devices and echo dots are working normally.  It’s only my echo show an echo plus device that Will not read back my grocery list or repeat an item I add to it. Strange behavior I’ve never seen this since I’ve had it.

does your list appear on the screen?  I don't have the show but show mode on a firehd and it read the list with the list appearing on the screen.
