Browser wont open on Show. Keeps asking to set up video provider

So i have a first gen Show, and everytime i try to open either browser (ive gone into settings and tried checking both) the Show keeps telling me i have to set up a video provider in the Alexa app. I spent over an hour on the phone a couple weeks ago with support and no one could figure it out. I purchased the unit in the States but live in Canada. Not that it should matter.
Please help!
